10 Days Trekking Tour in the Bogda Peak Area |

 Bogda Peak is the highest
peak of the eastern Tianshan Ranges, with beautiful scenery and
excellent conditions for trekking tours. It is only about 150 km
away from Urumqi. You will arrive at Lake of Heaven(1980 m high)
first, then take boat to the south bank of the lake, from here, you
will start trekking, in 2 days, you will arrive the base camp at
3900 m high.

Arrive in Urumqi, meet at airport, and transfer to a 4
star hotel. |

Drive to Lake of Heaven, sightseeing in the lake, then
take a boat to the south bank, enjoy the pretty scenery of Tianshan
Mountain. Stay in Yurt or camping. |

Trekking about 6 hours through grassland and forest of
Tianshan to Dadonggou Valley. Camping. |
|
D4 |
Trekking about 6 hours to the Base Camp of Bogda Peak,
enjoy the magnificent scenery of the peak which is 5545 m above sea
level. Camping. |

D5 |
Trekking up or around the peak, visit several ascent
lakes, maybe you will see snow lotus, photographing the peak area.

Trekking about 6 hours from base camp to Black Valley,
enjoy the natural scenery of the north slope of Tianshan. Camping. |

Trekking about 6 hours to Three Fork Village. Camping. |

D8 |
Drive to Turpan. On the way, visit the famous Daban
City. Also visit the Jiaohe Ancient City, and the Karez underground
irrigation system. Stay in a 3 star hotel. |

D9 |
Visit the Flaming Hill, the Thousand Buddha Cave, the
Grape Valley, the Astana Tomb, and the Ancient City. In the late
afternoon, drive back to Urumqi, on the way, visit the largest wind
power station. Stay in a 4 star hotel. |

Morning visit the colorful Erdaoqiao Bazaar, after
lunch, transfer to airport for your departure flight. |
