Drive from Kunming to Lijiang (2400m,540km). Lijiang Old Town has been selected into the List of World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. Sightseeing in the old town, stay in a 4 star hotel.

Drive from Lijiang to Zhongdian (3200m,180km). On the way, sightseeing in the Tiger-Leaping Gorge, Stay in a 4 star hotel in Zhongdian.

Drive from Zhongdian to Daocheng (3800m,300km). On the way, sightseeing in the Shangri-la Gorge. Stay in a 1 star hotel in Daocheng.

Drive form Bayi to Namshan (3150m,260km). Today you will drive along the Yarlung Tsangpo River. Stay in a local guesthouse.

Drive from Namshan to Tsetang (3500m,240km). Visit Yongbulagkang, the earliest palce of Tibet, which was built on the top of a hill beside Tsetang. Stay in a 3 star hotel.

Drive from Tsetang to Gyangtze (3900m,330km). On the way, sightseeing in the beautiful Yamtzo Yumco Lake which is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. Stay in a 2 star hotel.

Drive from Gyangtze to Shigatze (3800m,160km). Visit a unique monastery Palcho where own a huge pagoda with ten thousand statues of buddha. Stay in a 3 star hotel.

Drive from Shigatze to Lhasa (3650m,220km). Visit the Tashilhumpo Monastery which is one of four main monasteries of the Gelupa Sect. after lunch, drive back to Lhasa. Stay at 4 star hotel in Lhasa.

Today start the city tour of Lhasa where is the real paradise of Tibet. In the morning, visit one of the World Cultural Heritage, Potala Palace, built in the seventh century during the reign of King Sontsen Gampo, It is also the headquarter of the Dalai Lamas. In the afternoon, visit the well-known Jokhang Monastery located in the old district of Lhasa. And then walk along the Barkor Street to enjoy local handicraft. Stay in a 4 star hotel.

Go visit the largest monastery Drepung where more than nine thousand monks lived in at same time. After lunch, visit Sera Monastery which is an ideal place for photographing. Stay in a 4 star hotel.
