Beijing is the capital of China with a lot of must-see spots, like
the Great Wall and the Forbidden City, it also has many must-taste
foods, like the Beijing Roast Duck and Jiaozi, a kind of dumpling.
Xian was China's capital more than 1000 years ago, it has a lot of
historic spots, like the Terra Cotta Warriors and the Wild Goose

more about China's art and culture. 2000 years ago, Emperor
Wudi of the Han Dynasty dispatched an emissary to the west, not for
trade, but
for
securing allies against the hordes intrusion from the north. That
was the first time China opened its door to the western world. Since
then, camel caravans, carrying spices, fruits and all kinds of goods
from the west, continuously crossed the vast deserts and the
freezing mountains to come to China for the seek of silk. Today, you
can follow the path of those ancient caravans all the way on the
silk road.
Yunnan is situated in the
southwest corner of China, borders Tibet, Burma, Laos and Vietnam,
it has everything from towering snow mountain to tropical rain
forest, so it is very rich in tourism resources. Kunming, the
capital of Yunnan province, is called the Spring City of China. Dali
was the old capital of Y unnan
from the 8th to the 13th century. Lijiang is an very beautiful old
town with a lot of well-kept old buildings, it is also a World
Culture Heritage. China's longest river, Yangtze River or Chang
Jiang in Chinese, is also its best-known geographical phenomenon,
inspiring a combination of pride, awe and sadness. Its 6,300kms
(4,000 miles) length begins in the west of Qinghai and winds its way
through eight provinces in central China before flowing into the
East China Sea near Shanghai.

Today's excursion takes you to the Stone Forest, which offers visitors a unique landscape of stark limestone pillars twisted and sculpted by the elements. The Stone Forest is home to the Sani people, a branch of the Yi minority. In the local market, you will see many Yi women selling their handmade crafts. |

Sightseeing in the beautiful Black Dragon Pond where is an ideal place to photographing the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain(5596 m), after lunch, drive from Lijiang to Zhongdian(3200 m above sea level), on the way, sightseeing in the famous Tiger-leaping Gorge which is one of the deepest gorges in the world. Inside the Terracotta Museum, the warriors still stand on the actual site where peasants discovered them in 1974. Visit Tomb of Abakh Hoja located in the northeast suburbs of the oasis. Two of the tombs under the doomed ceiling are draped in green: that of Abakh Hoja and that of his great granddaughter, Iparhan, who is known in Chinese history as Xiang Fei, the Fragrant Concubine.
