Arrive in Chengdu.
Arrive in Chengdu at noon and transfer to city. Where time permit, do some sightseeing ( Wuhou-si Temple, Dufu Thatched Cottage, evening watch Sichuan mask-changing opera etc. ). Stay in the 4 star Minshan Hotel in center of downtown area.

Chengdu / Wolong Panda Reserve / Rilong Town 
In the morning we will drive to Rilong Town at the feet of Four Girls Mountain (6250m). Along the way visit the biggest Panda Reserve in Wolong. Then drive over the BalangShan Pass (4497m). In the late afternoon arrive in the feet of Four Girls Mountain. Then take the tour bus to visit the Shuangqiao Valley. Stay in Four Girls Mountain Cottage.

Rilong Town /Danba 
In morning walk in the Changping Valley of Four Girls Mountain. In the afternoon drive to Danba county. In the road we will enjoy the unique sights of Jiarong Tibetan hamlet with its unique ancient Qiang Diao (the special dwelling houses for Qiang ethnic group). Stay in Danba Guesthouse(no star hotel).

Danba Sightseeing / Tagong 
In morning visit the magnificent Jiarong Tower groups . In late afternoon we will continue to go to the wide Kam plateau, cross the deep valley of Donggu, and arrive at the flat Tagong grass land in late afternoon. Visit the big Monastery of Tagong. Stay in a local guesthouse(no star hotel).

D5

Tagong / Yajiang / Litang 
The whole day we will drive on the high Qinghai-Tibet plateau. Visit Bangpu monastery and the giant Cangqincunke monastery. Stay in 2 star High City Hotel in Litang(4200m).

Note: According to our experience, it is very difficult to drive from Tagong to Daocheng in one day. So, we suggest you stay in Litang on D5.

Litang/Daocheng / Yading - Conggu Monastery 
In morning drive to Yading nature reserve. From the reserve entrance we will rent horses and walk/ride to the Conggu Monastery. Camping.

Conggusi Monastery /Luorong Yak Farm
Walk or ride horse to the Yak farm of Luorong and hike / horse-trek around the area. Camping.

Luorong Yak House / Milk Lake
Start the morning with a visit to the Wuhua Hai (Five Colour Lake) and magical NiuNai Hai ( Milk Lake ). Continuing on from the Lake, we cross a 4400m pass and branches right to the grassy meadows for our camp overnight. Camping.

Chenresig Kora Day 2 / Conggusi Monastery
We continue our kora around Chenresig Peak and hike over another higher pass of about 4800m and follow by a descent beneath the north face of Chenresig Peak. Pass Tara Lake ( Drolma Tso ) enroute back to Conggusi Monastery. Camping.

Conggusi Monastery / Daocheng 
In the morning we descend and return to Daocheng city. In afternoon visit the Hotspring to relax after few days of trek. Stay in the 1 star Forestry Hotel.

D11

Daocheng / Xiangcheng / Zhongdian 
Morning drive to Zhongdian. Visit Wuming Mountain Scenic Spot, the precipitous Maxionggou and lamaseries in Xiangcheng. Then tour in the Mt. Daxueshan and Mt. Xiaoxueshan ( Big and Small Snow Mountains ) . Stay in the 2 star Yongshen Tibet Hotel.

D12

Zhongdian Sightseeing
Visit Bitahai Lake and Songzhanlin Monastery and more if time permits. Stay in the 2 star Yongshen Tibet Hotel.

Zhongdian / Tiger Leaping Gorge / Lijiang.
Drive to Lijiang. On the way, visit the Tiger Leaping Gorge (Qiaotou). In afternoon arrive in Lijiang and stay at the Old Town. Stay in the 3 star Old Town Inn.

D14

Lijiang ( Yulong Xue Shan ) Tour 
Visit the Yulong ( Jade Dragon ) Snow Mountain (5596m). Do some hiking if possible. Late afternoon/evening free time in the old town. Stay in the 3 star Old Town Inn.

D15

Lijiang / Dali / Kunming (1890m)
Morning drive to Dali for brief stop before continuing to Kunming. Stay in the 4 star New Era Hotel in center of downtown area.

D16

Kunming Depart
Where time permit, some sightseeing (Dragon Gate ) before departure back.
