Morning free. Afternoon plane to Xi'an. This modern provincial capital preserves the Ming city walls in their entirety. You'll love our special dumpling dinner.

Visit site of the Terra Cotta Warriors, one of the Wonders of the World. Buried over 2000 years, each soldier has a different facial feature. On to Huaqing Pools where Emperors bathed. Evening performance of Tang Dynasty Show - enjoyable with superb costumes.

Free day to enjoy lively Xi'an. Visit unusual food market, shop and evening walk on the wall.

Visit Wild Goose Pagoda, a Buddhist site built in 652. Afternoon flight Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province, preserves some of its traditional flavor and has the best spicy food in China.

Bus ride through interesting countryside to Yellow Creek village left undisturbed over 100 years and made a National Treasure. Local women will sell you a floral headpiece, fun to wear. Lunch at one of many small restaurants along the river front. Visit another village on return. Dinner traditional Hot Pot, a Sichuan specialty.

Chengdu Zoo is best known for Panda Bears, one of which recently came to the US. Chinese are experts at lacquered furniture so we must see a demonstration of technique plus beautiful pieces uniquely housed in one of the old mansions of the Qing Dynasty. Afternoon flight to Guilin on the Li River. Get a foot massage. Great treats!

Visit to the beautiful Reed Flute Cave with stalagmites, stalactites and vast caverns. Then another wonderful evening culture program.

Great scenic area with unusual surrounding limestone mountains as you cruise the Li River. Overnight, rural village of Yangshuo without tourists! Great hamburgers at Susanna's if you are in need of Western food. In the evening see the famous diving Cormorants.

Just the place to explore and relax... super shopping in this little village with many temptations. Countryside walks, bicycling or a boat ride to the next village. Flight to Shanghai by evening plane.

A little variety with a trip to Suzhou. Known for its garden designs. By traveling by bus we can stop at Zhou Zang, completely off the tourist track for some free time. Go with group or choose own place for dinner.

Short ride on the Grand Canal. Visit Tiger Hill Park with waterfalls, rock gardens and landscaped paths built during the Zhou Dynasty (1027- 256 BC). Visit to silk factory and Double Sided Embroidery workshop.

Suzhou/Shanghai by train in the morning and transfer to the Pudong Airport for your flight home.
