Arrive in Beijing. You will be met by our guide at airport and transferred to your hotel. |

Excursion to the Great Wall at Mutianyu, take cable car up and down the wall. On the way back, visit the Ming Tombs. Peking Duck Dinner. |

Visit Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world, then move on to see the Forbidden City which has been the royal palace for more than 500 years. After lunch, visit the magnificent Temple of Heaven where Qing emperors worshipped for good harvest. |

Morning sightseeing begins with a visit to the giant pandas at the Beijing Zoo. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace which is a very pretty royal garden, then take an evening flight to Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia, meet at airport and transfer to your hotel. |

Morning program features the Grave of Wang Zhaojun, favorite concubine of Emperor Yuan of the Western Han Dynasty, the Five-Pagoda Temple and the Minority Museum. Travel by coach to Xilamoren in the afternoon. Enjoy a music and dance performance in the evening. Stay overnight in a 2 star yurt. |

Begin the day by touring the grassland and pastures.
Visit herdsmen's home. Watch or join the locals in horse and camel riding. Wrestling and archery. Spend another night in yurt. |

Return to Hohhot by coach and transfer to your hotel. Excursions in the afternoon feature the Da Zhao and Xiao Zhao Temples. Dinner is served at the hotel. |

Take a train to Datong in Shanxi province and transfer to your hotel. |

Today's highlight is to visit Yungang Grottos, which is a World Culture Heritage, extending about a mile from east to west, these fifty-three grottos house some 51,000 buddhist statues. Visit the Hua Yan Monastery or the Nine-Dragon Wall if time permits. Take an overnight train on soft sleeper to Beijing. |

Arrive in Beijing in the early morning and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day at leisure and explore the city on your own. |
