The Hollywood
Road is situated at the Sheung Wan of Hong Kong Island, which
is a famous antiquity street for a collection of antiquities and
historic relics from different countries and China's sorrel wood
furniture. The prices depend on the age of the antique, whether
it is genuine or counterfeit or whether it is kept intact or the
amount in store.
Going down the Hollywood Road along the Lau
Tei Kai, a few steps away is the Lok Ku Road. Here it used to
be the brothel and seamen's apartments, but now it has become
a grocery market, a place where handicrafts, antiquities and historical
relics modeled after the ancients.
Not far away from Lok Ku Road is Mo Lou Upper Street and at its
entrance stand the Twin Stone Lions of the Tang Dynasty, which
are symbolic of the street. It has a huge collection of antiquities
of various descriptions. It is a treasure place where many collectors
of antiquities are looking for valuables and treasure.
